Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is doing very little to shed his violent reputation on the court. Green was ejected Tuesday after striking Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face.
The Warriors, who led the Suns, 65-60, had a sideline inbound early in the third quarter at Footprint Center in Phoenix.
Green was battling for position against the heftier Nurkic near the left corner. The Warriors forward spun around seemingly to reposition himself and ended up swinging forcibly at the 7-foot center’s face.

Nurkic was down with his face on the floor for several minutes. Green was issued a flagrant 2, which warrants an automatic ejection.
Green tallied two points, two rebounds and two assists before his ejection.
The Warriors star was already suspended for five games earlier this season for his headlock against Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert.
The NBA will likely give this incident a long look to determine if Green deserves even more time away from the court.
